Scope: The scope of work involved the procurement, erection, and commissioning of the balance of plant works specifically in the area of plant mechanical and electrical. The plant size was 243 MW respectively.

Kapar Power Station (Phase III)

Client: Tenaga Nasional Berhad 
Scope: The scope of work covers the procurement, erection, commissioning, and supervision of the various plant electrical and mechanical auxiliaries, of 2 x 500 MW capacity.

Malacca Combined Cycle Conversion

Scope: This is a turnkey contract undertaken by TNEC is a joint venture with local and international partners. The project involved the Conversion of 2 GE Frame 9 Machines into Combined Cycle operations, of 120 MW capacity.

Relocation Of Gas Turbine From Pasir Gudang To Gelugor

Duration: Feb 1995 – Nov 1995
Client: Tenaga Nasional Berhad
Scope: The scope of work involved the dismantling of one GE Frame 9 (110 MW) at Pasir Gudang Power Station and the transportation to Gelugor Station, reinstallation, and commissioning of the gas turbine. The scope also involved the redesign and construction of the electrical switchgear at Gelugor Power Station.

Relocation Of 2x30MW Gas Turbine From Kapar To Pulau Langkawi

Duration: 5.5 months

Scope: The scope of work involved the dismantling of 2 x 30 MW GEC Alsthom GTs at Kapar and the transportation to the Teluk Ewa Power Station in Langkawi, reinstallation, and commissioning of the Gas Turbines. The scope also involved the redesign and construction of the electrical switchgear at Teluk Ewa Power Station in Langkawi.

IPP In Sihanoukville, Cambodia

Scope: TNEC participated in the international tender by Asian Development Bank and was the turnkey contractor for the total development of the power plant. The total plant capacity of the diesel power plant is 20 MW.

Extension Of Power House, Supply & Installation Of Diesel Generating Sets

Relocation Of The Second Gas Turbine From Kapar To Gelugor

Scope: The scope involved dismantling, relocation of one unit Frame 917E gas Turbine from Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Power Station, Kapar, Klang to Gelugor Power Station in Penang, reinstallation, and commissioning of the gas turbine.

Gelugor Power Station Upgrading Project – Construction Of 132kV GIS Substation

Scope: The scope of work involved full turnkey work to design, engineer, manufacture, inspect and test at manufacturer’s place, complete erection, setting to work, and warranty for a period of 12 months after putting into service at the site for a new 132kV GIS Substation.

Gelugor Power Plant Combined Sycle Conversion Project
